    • Bolivia has severed diplomatic ties with Israel, citing the latter’s “crimes against humanity”.

    • The three major trade unions in Belgium—comprising over 3 million members—announced that they will refuse to transport weapons, by plane or sea, going to the zionist entity, citing the zionist genocide in Palestine and calling out the hypocrisy of the Belgian government.

Hey, you are not an embarrassment for not knowing how to do certain household chores/basic self-care. They do not come naturally to us. A lot of it takes practice! Maybe you had a neglectful guardian. Maybe you had one that was very coddling and never thought to teach you. Maybe you haven’t lived in a place where these things were available to you or needed. Doesn’t matter. It’s okay to not know and far more common than you might realise.

That said, this website provides very simple instructions on how to do everyday tasks such as making your bed, using a washing machine, cooking different foods, washing dishes, taking a shower, etc. All you have to do is use the search bar to find the task you’re struggling with, and it’ll come up with what you need + other related how-to’s:)

If you’re having trouble navigating it, let me provide you with some examples:

    • How to clean dishes by hand
    • How to make your bed (with visual demonstrations of each step!)
    • How to fold clothes (with visual demonstrations of each step!)
    • How to take a shower & dry yourself off (also provides ways to shave beards, armpits, legs and genitals)
    • How to shave legs, armpits, beards, pubic areas, etc. (a more in-depth guide)
    • How to mop the floor
    • How to sweep the floor
    • How to swallow pills
    • How to make small talk
    • How to make eye contact in different situations (or how to avoid it while still looking natural)

It’s also perfectly okay if these don’t help or aren’t appealing to you. Unfortunately, nothing helps everyone.

Also if the reason you don’t know is developmental , intelectual or learning disabilities making you struggle even if you’ve been taught a bunch of times , you are so cool and awesome too :^) [smiley face ]

People who work in healthcare often get asked, what’s the worst thing you’ve seen?

Even as a former student I get asked what’s the worst thing I’ve seen.

It’s the fact every single person in healthcare I’ve seen say that nothing comes close to what they’ve seen in Gaza.

A little boy had his foot amputated without anesthesia.

Their are premature babies in the NICU who are in incubators that can’t function without fuel.

Burns so severe they go to the bone.

Operations being done in the streets with a phone torch as their only light.

They are dealing with such severe injuries that the doctors themselves don’t know how to treat them.

Because they’ve never seen anything like this before.

No one teaches you how to deal with these injuries because they didn’t exist before.

The healthcare system has collapsed and they are still trying to save people.

They are singing about how they won’t leave their patients.

Comforting the scared and traumatised while they are also scared and traumatised.

And people have the audacity to say they aren’t human.

jewishvoiceforpeace: This is what genocide looks like. These are the 2913 Palestinian children killed by the Israeli military this month, as of Thursday, October 26. As the Israeli airstrikes on Gaza intensify, we recognize with horror and grief that this death toll is already inaccurate.

We demand a ceasefire now to save lives. To stop a genocide. The Israeli military has already erased 47 entire Palestinian families from Gaza’s population registry; all members of the family, from all generations, are dead. This is loss beyond measure.

The U.S. is also responsible for this horror. 80% of the bombs that the Israeli military drops on Gaza, that are used to kill these children, are American-made. We are called to do everything we can to stop this genocide.

As we continue to demand a ceasefire and fight for a future where everyone is free and equal and safe, we refuse to forget these lives. We will always affirm that every life is precious.

Every single one of these deaths was preventable. When we say Never Again-for anyone, this is who we mean. Never Again is right now.
